We care about the company we keep, and we are proud to be associated with the following organisations.
CyberWales

Security Foundry are active members of CyberWales and associated with the North Wales Cyber Security Cluster. We meet and attend regular events that benefit the community of cyber security businesses that operate here across Wales. We have supported events held at Wrexham Glyndwr University where we have had talks from experts and leaders in cyber security that included Director of Operations from GCHQ's National Cyber Security Centre.  Cyber Wales is a representative body with the aim of being the Heart and the Voice of the cyber Communities in Wales. Security Foundry have been members of Technology Connected since 2019. Technology Connected is the leading network for technology in Wales. For nearly 20 years, they have worked alongside their members to forge new business connections, raise their profiles and to create a powerful collective voice for the technology industry here in Wales and beyond. They are the go-to organisation for news, views and insight for the Welsh technology industry.

Through our work that we deliver in cybersecurity for businesses, we were recognised in the Sir Michael Moritz Tech Start Up Award in 2019, held at the prestigious Cardiff City Hall. In addition we have spoken at global online events at both Wales Tech Week and Emerging Tech Fest, which are the leading digital festivals organised for businesses across Wales.

The Mersey Dee Alliance (MDA) is a successful partnership that supports strategic economic growth across North East Wales, West Cheshire and Wirral. Recognised as a single economic sub-region and having a population close to 1 million, the Mersey Dee area is a pivotal location in the UK.

The Mersey Dee has five main centres, with different histories, that are complementary in their economic roles to each other despite being either side of the England – Wales national border.

The Mersey Dee area offers a distinctive spread of urban, industrial, residential and rural economies that are functionally connected. With a strong diverse economy (that includes aerospace, automotive, nuclear, renewables, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, financial services, food, engineering, ICT, tourism and retail) the Mersey Dee area is poised for long-term investment, providing opportunities for companies to develop within a growing economic region that has an available supply of land and skilled people available.

North Wales Regional Skills Partnership

Security Foundry are always keen to help with and support the future cybersecurity talent being developed within the Colleges and Universities that are based here in North Wales. We actively believe the future success of our own business is founded on having a successful engagement program as we do with Bangor & Wrexham Glyndwr University. We are recent members of the North Wales Regional Skills Partnership as a local employer in a Creative & Digital sector capacity. Using our expertise in Cybersecurity and IT we support their work they provide the North Wales Economic Ambition Board and help within their Digital Employers Cluster Group.

Regional Skills Partnerships (RSPs) are tasked with analysing economic challenges and likely growth areas to identify the skills needed in the workforce. They produce Regional Employment and Skills Plans to analyse and influence the provision of skills based on regional economic need, to support growth and key infrastructure projects in each region. The Regional Employment and Skills Plans build on and support priorities identified by Enterprise Zones, City Deal, City Regions and cross border collaborations. North Wales Social

Now more than ever it’s important to have a platform to help, develop and encourage local business. That’s why North Wales Social, the 'business community reinvented with content powered by you' was launched in 2020.

North Wales Social was formed with the primary aim of providing a business community driven platform to empower businesses in North Wales. Whether you are interested in best practice, thinking of starting a new business or looking to grow your existing business, they exist to give you engaging content, networking opportunities and the resources to thrive. We were delighted to be one of their founding authors when their platform was launched and regularly contribute pieces and articles about cybersecurity, data privacy and working from home safely - topics that directly affect local businesses across North Wales.
