Our security team constantly refine and aim to improve our cybersecurity managed services. In particular for our Microsoft customers, this has resulted in the development of our brand new offering, MicroSOC.
We have long provided customers managed security services and for the past 3 years we have increased our proportion to be Microsoft Sentinel based services, based on their overall effectiveness and value for money that we believe they afford.
With so many cybersecurity technologies in the marketplace, and with so many providing differing levels of effectiveness and usefulness, we aim to simplify and consolidate wherever possible technology stacks within organisations for both technical and commercial reasons. According to IBM, the average enterprise has 75 different security technologies - which makes for a massive overhead for the security team that has to manage them.
So we simplify on tools to help save customers money. We help eliminate spends on tools that have added features over time and now overlap each other. We also like to simplify because fewer tools are easier to manage, easier to pay attention to, cost less to keep users trained and certified and simpler to keep them supported and updated. We can help you deploy and manage Microsoft Sentinel if you want to here, but for our smaller customers, when they prefer a lighter touch service, managed by their partner, MicroSOC is the considered choice.

Deploying MicroSOC
is incredibly simple and straightforward. Our first workshop often takes around an hour to gather vital information and helps provide our experts the inputs they need for an initial deployment on your behalf.
Once we have created for you a Microsoft Sentinel environment within our security operations centre we can undertake a trial together, and we agree up front what success looks like. Based on what we find, we can provide as much or as little resource we jointly think is required to help you stay on top of all the various incidents that we detect in your environment everyday.
We manage it all for you and anything detected is automatically picked up by our security operations team. We provide easy to digest weekly reporting for you that shows you trends, exact issues that were detected, what we did about them and what the assigned analyst now recommends we do on your behalf for the following week.
Our reports are highly tailored and always specific to you, giving you actionable intelligence that constantly improves your security.
Once your environment has initially settled down and been tuned, so we know what 'normal' behaviour is, we can jointly agree the level of risk your business is prepared to accept in everyday operations.
Bear in mind that you cannot eliminate all cybersecurity issues at all times but you can decide based on an agreed risk profile what is important and what is not. We make it easy to see and digest as well.
